In Part II we uncovered our 'Main Life Lesson' and the vital clue to the primary goal that our soul is seeking within this lifetime. Within our actual Birth Day Number we can uncover guidance as to how to approach this vital Life Lesson. By operating with the balanced energies of the Birth Day Number, we can gain vital clues as to how our personality can optimally operate within our approach to the Main Life Lesson.

Standard Numerology may speak of discordant and harmonious energies that relate between the Birth Day and the Life Path Number. It is generally believed that an individual will find their application easier to accomplish if their Birth Day Number and Life Path Number are in harmony, and much more difficult if they are discordant.

In surface terms this is true, however I truly believe that there are solutions available, rather than accepting discordant energies as absolutes. The soul in its infinite wisdom knew what it was doing and purposely chose a combination capable of producing wonderment, growth and success. Numerology knowledge as a blending of energies grants all of us invaluable guidance as to how to maximise our unique potential. There are no ‘black and white’ answers. An experienced Numerologist inherently understands that true healing and evolution lies in the ‘feel’ of the energies as a whole – rather than categorising harmonious or discordant energies.

The method of calculating is remarkably simple. We simply take the essence number of the actual Birth Day Number. Remember that an ‘11’ or a ‘22’ essence number remains as such. Therefore a person born on the 12th will have a Birth Day Number of 3 (1+2=3) and a person born on the 29th will have a Birth Day Number of 11 (2+9=11). Naturally a person born on the 11th or 22nd will have a Birth Day Number of 11 and 22 respectively.

The meanings of the Birth Day Numbers will remain identical to the Life Path Number. The only difference is how the Birth Day Number is applied. The Life Path Number produces the stage play for our life – i.e. it creates the plot and characters. The Birth Day Number grants us indications as to how our lines should be delivered in this play.

Let's look at some common examples of Life Path and Birth Day Number combinations:

Life Path Number 1 – Birth Day Number 2.

The Life Path Number 1 indicates the Life Lesson to achieve is one of Independence and Leadership.

The Birth Day Number 2 indicates the approach required towards the Life Lesson is one of co-operation and team play.

At initial investigation, these energies would seem discordant. Until we really feel into these energies, we may believe this individual will be struggling within themself. Leadership is obviously opposed to team-play. However with some application of wisdom and insight, we can assess that many great leaders have ‘stood out’ because of their ability to be diplomatic and apply sensitivity to their environment. Many true leaders lead by example and apply grand levels of consideration to create ‘win-win’ situations, and have been revered for their ability to express humility, tenderness and a sense of fair play. An individual with such vibrations is being granted a vital clue as to how their experience of Leadership can be generated in order to grow towards their highest expression. All is not smooth sailing though! With every Numerology blend, there are positives and subsequent areas that will require adjustment and growth. The particular Life Path / Birth Day Challenges for this individual will be:

• To pursue and attain Leadership and Independence (main agenda).
  
• To retain personal power and have the ability to commit to authentic progress whilst remaining compassionate to their environment (approach to main agenda.)
  
• To guard against over-sensitivity and dependence on others to sabotage the soul’s requirement to attain Leadership and Independence (not allowing the 2 energy to overshadow the 1 energy.)

If such an individual is struggling to stand on their own two feet or is over co-dependent on other people to provide their progress and security, they will have missed the mark of the pioneering 1 energy, and will be extremely frustrated and doubting of self. The caring Numerologist may suggest self-worth and self-focus work to help this individual activate their significant resources of personal power. On the flip side, this individual may be operating in the over-balance (too much) 1 energy, and may be lacking compassion, tolerance and empathy for their environment. Spiritual awareness and self-love may transform this significantly as the individual grows more towards surrender and understanding the concepts of one-ness.

To give an example of a classic harmonious combination.

Life Path Number 6 – Birth Day Number 9.

The Life Path Number 6 indicates the Life Lesson to achieve is one of Giving and Receiving Love.

The Birth Day Number 9 indicates the approach required towards the Life Lesson is one of Humanitarian Endeavours.

In many ways we can understand that Giving and Receiving Love and displaying Humanitarianism are very compatible energies. This individual if they are operating in the balance of these energies has the wonderful potential to easily create the Life Lesson of ‘lovingness’ through the vehicle of their inherent giving nature.

Remember however, that life is never absolute and it is forever changing. It is essential to have ‘negative’ in order to produce the essential ‘signposts’ to keep us working towards our positive growth. Therefore the ‘negatives’ of any combination are vital in order for us to grow. Within the compatibility of this 6 and 9 combination there is a marvellous connection to others yet no solid energy focused on self such as 1,4,5 and 8 energy. Therefore this individual may have trouble setting boundaries and may feel drained by constantly giving their energy away. Ultimately they may begin to resent giving. As such the particular Life Path / Birth Day Number Challenges for this individual will be:

• To commit to and attain Giving and Receiving Love (main agenda).
  
• To achieve Lovingness by approaching this Lesson through Humanitarian Expression (approach to main agenda.)
  
• To guard against over giving, and to maintain personal boundaries in order to fulfil this life lesson joyously – rather than experience exploitation, depletion of resources and consequent resentment.

If an individual with this combination is not conducting himself or herself with love and giving to others they will feel great dissatisfaction – just as the 6-9 individual who is displaying sacrificial martyr-like behaviour would also be deeply unhappy with their life.

You can see how important it is to feel out the blend of the Life Path Number and Birth Day Number deeply. Ultimate awareness and workable information are available when both the positives and the negatives are exposed and embraced.

Hopefully this instalment will grant you some further knowledge to gain greater insight into ‘how to apply yourself’ to achieve your Life’s Main Agenda. In many ways the numbers 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 can be felt out as combinations with basic knowledge – albeit there is much more expansive information available regarding these numbers.

It is a fair statement to conclude that if you have stumbled across this information that you are likely to have strong spiritual energy somewhere within your Numerology Profile. There are no coincidences within the law of cause and effect. This divine synchronicity has been activated by your soul wishing to bring forth spiritual consciousness. As such I feel that it is important to reveal some added information regarding the numbers from 7 onwards.


The Meanings Of the Numbers from 7 Onwards

7 – Deep Spiritual Inner Knowledge:

This number is a highly evolved ‘old soul’ vibration. Seven is the number of the psychic. Individuals with this number featuring as a predominant vibration in their Numerology Profile have a definite necessity to pursue spiritual and psychic training and understanding. These individuals are unique and operate on a totally different wavelength to the general community. If you have this number you may feel isolated, separated and misunderstood until the true self (spiritual and psychic) is embraced. There is a strong need to connect and develop with like-minded people.

8 – Material Expression:

This soul has come to achieve real and concrete physical success. This number may often be experienced within individuals who display extraordinary business potential. As abundant as this number can be it does produce many ‘trip wires.’ The spiritual self (inner-worth) must be established otherwise you will suffer the dissatisfaction of ‘I am only as good as my last tangible success.’ Unless the inner riches are developed a deep dissatisfaction will prevail regardless of how much is amassed on an outer level.

9 – Humanitarian Endeavours:

This is another high-level spiritual path. This number is often attributed to healers (spiritual and contemporary) and people connected to service industries. The true gift of this Life Lesson is one of giving without expectation of return. There is a fine line between being exploited and also understanding when it is not serving self or others to give in such great measures.

11 – Channelling Divine Message (The Medium):

The first of the Master Numbers. This number signifies enormous potential as the Psychic / Medium Channeller and / or as an inspirational speaker and writer.

22 – Producing Large Projects to Benefit Mankind:

This Master Number is earthier than the ethereal vibration of the 11. The 22 energy is about creating real and solid projects to better spiritual and humanitarian conditions for mankind. Ultimate examples of this energy are individuals such as Betty Ford and Mother Teresa.

Both of the Master vibrations carry a great deal of nervous tension that has a requirement to be channelled towards loving, spiritual and inspirational practices. It is important within these endeavours to express sensitivity, compassion and humility with such gifts. These vibrations are extremely high-powered and its riches are equalled by its pitfalls if the Master Number individual is not on the correct path. These high level numbers require great responsibility in order to realise their high potential.
